CNM is not only committed to meeting local and international standards of good practice, but developing thoughtful, inclusive and purpose driven initiatives to ensure that our operations operate as sector leaders. Environmental protection, social development and Health & Safety issues are important to the company’s directors and employees, its investors and communities impacted by its activities.
CNM ensure that we work with and listen to the concerns and interests of local communities and seek to ensure that they benefit from our presence and operations on a long-term basis. Through our dedicated team we have worked in partnership with communities, Governments and other stakeholders to understand their priorities and contribute to social development through economic growth. CNM has taken on-board this feedback from stakeholders and contributed to the establishment of the Musangu Foundation.
The Musangu Foundation was established to collaborate with mining partners to develop long-term, sustainable social investment and environmental protection projects, which create income security for rural communities without the reliance on on-going support of the mining partner.
