Frank Russo-Bello
Director & Chief Executive Officer
Frank joined CNM in May 2023. He is a mining engineer and brings with him more than 30 years’ experience in the mining industry. Prior to joining CNM, he was the Senior Vice President of the Brazil region with AngloGold Ashanti. He has also held executive and senior leadership positions at Konkola Copper Mines, Uranium One, and several large South African operations with Lonmin Platinum and AngloGold Ashanti.
Brad Mills
Executive Vice Chairman
Brad joined CNM’s board in December 2014 and brings with him over 30 years’ experience in the resource industry. He currently holds a directorship with Norilsk Nickel, the world’s largest nickel producer, and is a founder and managing director of Plinian Capital. He was formerly CEO of Lonmin Plc, the world’s number three platinum and PGM producer, and, prior to that, served as president of BHP Billiton’s copper group.
Bo Xiong
Chairman
Bo joined CNM’s board in February 2020 and represents Cheng Tun Mining, a major shareholder of CNM. He has over 15 years’ experience in the mining resources and energy sector, specialising in corporate strategy, business planning and development. Bo is currently Assistant to Board Chairman at Cheng Tun Mining, as well as General Manager, Investment & Finance.
Pierre Wu
Non-executive Director
Pierre joined CNM’s board in October 2020 and represents Cheng Tun Mining, a major shareholder of CNM. Pierre graduated from Heriot-Watt University with a Masters in Business in 2014. He joined Cheng Tun Group in 2014 and was appointed as Commercial Manager of Cheng Tun in 2017.
Emma Oosthuizen
Chief Financial Officer
Emma joined CNM in July 2023. She is a senior finance executive with over 20 years’ experience in the mining industry and a track record of capable leadership in public traded international mining companies. She has held a number of senior executive positions, including CEO and CFO of Buffalo Coal Corp. and CFO of First Uranium Corp. Prior to these roles, Emma also held senior financial management positions with Simmer and Jack Mines Ltd and Randgold & Exploration Co. Ltd..
Felix Pole
Director
Felix is an experienced mining executive and co-founder of CNM. During his career, he has held a number of Board and senior management positions, including Director of Toledo Mining Plc, Chairman of European Nickel Plc, and Finance Director of Titan Resources, an Australian-listed company that developed and operated the Radio Hill Mine in Western Australia and developed the bacterial heap leaching process for nickel and copper sulphides.
Cyril Le Tonqueze
Non-executive Director
Cyril joined CNM’s board in December 2014. He is a co-founder of Generation Asset Management and is responsible for leading the business development of the direct private equity investments group. He is a director of Generation Mining Limited and CE Mining Limited and a co-founder of AIM listed West African Minerals. Cyril was previously in charge of the business development at Deltec Investments Advisers Limited and held the same position at Atlas Wealth Management.
Jianmin Wu
Non-executive Director
Jianmin joined CNM’s board in September 2021. He has extensive, international experience in operational management of exports and imports of ore and other products from the base of the supply chain through procurement, quality control, shipping and delivery of the end product. CNM welcome his skills and expertise to the Munali nickel project. Mr Wu has been instrumental at the mine site in the vital procurement process and smooth running of operations. He joins the board as a representative of Cheng Tun Mining.
